In Jeff’s Words

Professionally, my biggest attribute is learning several complex things from others. And then, recompiling them to present to readers in a down-to-earth and more organized, structured manner. So, regarding blogging, I will be presenting the blogging website infrastructure in a far more understandable manner. And, I’m always learning so, this journey’s content will be frequently added and updated.

I’ve been previously involved in the martial arts for about 27 years total with an emphasis on Korean Taekwondo (25 years) and Japanese Aikido (24 years), at times concurrently. My formal education involves a business management degree. I’ve lived and worked in 7 states in the southeast. I happily met my soul-mate wife and 2 sons in 1993 and live in South Carolina.

I retired as a federal systems manager, after 16 years. Currently, I’m currently working as an Applied Business Technologist. The key focus is on several unified, complex projects to create more practical methodologies and procedures to improve full life cycles of WordPress websites. The multiple site projects are identified as major phases that work together in unity as shown below. The food recipe site is the culmination of all the phases working together as a high performance, well structured application.

  • PrimaryVPS.com (this site): This is the foundation, server side and hub of all projects collectively. This central, minimal site also houses the landing pages for introducing each project.
  • OfficeSetupIdeas.com: This is the precursor and required combination of getting local resources, working remotely, and preparing readiness to perform all phases of all projects. It covers setting up a home office with various requirements and flexible options behind planning, furniture, hardware, software, equipment, supplies, and organizing it all.
  • DirectAdminVPS.com: The 1st phase of an individual website. Detailed Guides on creating an unmanaged Virtual Private Server (VPS) using DirectAdmin web control panel.
  • WordPressBricks.com: The 2nd phase of a website. Tech Guidance for setting up and optimizing WordPress Sites using Bricks Builder theme & builder.
  • Linxent.com (this site): Blogging at Home. This is a smaller applied culmination of all phases. It includes the practical use of the home office during multiple sites development.
  • DarnGoodRecipes.com: The largest active, applied culmination of all the phases in action. This food recipes site also founded on 14 years of food services & restaurant management experience.
  • Baygents.com: Development is pending. It’s purpose is for name authority, one of the key EEAT elements for websites.
